• I have installed VirtualSoundStage, but it doesn't appear in the plug-in menu inside Logic Pro.

  Because VSS is a stereo to stereo plug-in, Logic won't let you insert it on an uninitialized instrument track. So please check if inserting any stereo instrument like Kontakt on the track solves the problem.

• Are there any student discounts?

  Yes there's a student discount of 30% on all products.
  To request a discount code just send an e-mail to support@parallax-audio.com with a proof of your student status.
  Also note that any licenses purchased with an EDU Discount can be used in commercial productions. Everything else seems like non sense to me.

• Are there any new presets?

  The preset library is constantly growing, so check out the latest version.
  If there are any libraries missing you'd like to see added or if you want to contribute with some unprocessed bounces, please let me know about it.

• How do I activate the PRO upgrade?

  If you purchased the LITE to PRO upgrade, you don't need to run any extra installer. Simply open the preferences from the user interface, click the Activate Upgrade button and select your UPGRADE keyfile.
  Please note htat if you'll ever do a fresh installation of VSS you'll need both the original LITE version keyfile aswell as the UPGRADE keyfile, so keep a backup of both of them in a safe place.

• I lost my keyfile/download link. What do I do?

  No problem, just send an e-mail to support@parallax-audio.com with your name and purchasing e-mail address.

• How much CPU performance does VirtualSoundStage 2.0 need?

  For any average-sized mix you'll probably need at least between 20 and 50 instances of the plug-in running at the same time. The good news is that VirtualSoundStage is highly optimized to keep CPU usage as low as possible, so on a reaonably modern machine this won't be a problem. But to be absolutely sure I recommend, that you try the Demo and test for yourself how many instances your system can run in parallel.
